tom is my second name that my family, nearby friends and collegues used to call me with.

tom is also my principal character in different self-made strips.
he stays the unkown hero hidden inside me.

i was born in tunisia. lived my childhood in kuweit and traveled a lot between middle-eastern countries.

i'm proudly a modern arab and muslim boy.

i love pop and rock music, drawing, reading and specially surfing on the net, cinema, cycling and travel.
i enjoy photography and i love capturing cool moments and compositions.

i'm married to a wonderful and intelligent women that blogs too as snawsi.

i spent 5 years as a lead developer in a tunisian telecom operator where i developed, deployed and integrated various web oriented systems and frameworks using various open-source tools and technologies.

i've been a senior R&D software engineer in an italian company and a team leader for 2 years. i was responsable of the web technologies developement departement and adivsor on open source strategy.

actually, i'm a project manager in a well known frensh open source company where i'm responsable of managing the local developement departements and advisoring on the IT strategies and architectures.

i'm owner, too, of my own startup : blueMinds, where i work as an IT freelancer for designing and developing systems for many customers as well as offering a high-quality services, developed solutions, software architecture advisory and IT consulting.

i'm an open source evangilist, i'm a RHCE, a PHP expert, sharing my knowledges and helping the [tunisian] open-source community to grow up.
i got some publications and contributions in different open-source projects and i led in a couple of conferences and symposiums for various IT-related thematics.

i'm teaching, too, new technologies and web applications in a computer sciences institut.
